AAA Birthday #59

Hey there, crafty friends. I'm so glad you dropped by.

I did a lot of foiling several weeks ago and one of the cards works well for the geometric challenge at AAA Birthday

I used blue foil with the Geo Blocks from Pinkfresh Studio.  The blocks were colored with a stencil and various blue inks.  The sentiment is from a pack of foiled sentiments I bought.  EZPZ masculine card for my stash.

I made another one at the same time.

This one is foiled in black and stenciled in shades of gray with a sentiment from Altenew.

I hope your week is off to a good start.

Inkspirational #311

Hey there.  Thanks for dropping by.

They are looking for Clean and Simple at Inkspirational and of course I had to use the optional balloon.

This little hedgehog from Penny Black was perfect for the challenge.  He is colored with Altenew artist markers and is floating through a sky inked with a Rabbit Hole Design cloud stencil.  The hard part was finding an appropriate sentiment but this one from CASual Fridays fit beautifully.

Have a wonderful weekend.

There is still plenty of time for you to make a card for The Flower Challenge.  This month our prompt is

I have another 4.25 by 4.25 card.

The flowers are from Spellbinder's Be Bold Blooms, arranged on ivory cardstock.  This makes such a sweet little note card.

Freshly Made Sketches #627

Hey there.  I'm so glad you dropped by.

It usually takes me a while to figure out a card for Freshly Made Sketches but Karren's sketch gave me the perfect opportunity to pull out my Honey Bee Coneflower once I turned the sketch upside down.

The petals were cut in C9 Carnation and inked with Altenew Pinkalicious.  I found the matching patterned paper in a pack from Penny Black.  I love Coneflowers and would love to plant some in the back yard.

Time Out #259 - Just Us Girls Collaboration

I am excited about a special event that is going on at Time Out for this challenge.  We are collaborating with Just Us Girls and I happen to be on both Design Teams.

It's Just Us Girls Word Week and I picked the word "Birds" so we could have a common theme for both challenges.  When you link up your card at Time Out you will automatically be linked to the Just Us Girls challenge.

My card was made with Honey Bee's Spring Birds and Nest dies all cut in white and inked.  The background was lightly colored with Distress Ink.

We are being sponsored by Waffle Flower and the winner of our challenge will receive a $25 store credit.

The Design Team has some wonderful cards featuring birds for your inspiration.  You may also be inspired by the cards made by the Just Us Girls Design Team.  Be sure and check them out too.

Just Us Girls #718 - Word Week

Hey there crafty friends.  I'm so glad you dropped by.

We have something a little different for you this week at Just Us Girls.  We are collaborating with Time Out for a two week challenge.  I'm on both Design Teams and the host for this challenge - Birds.

I just HAD to have this Bird of the Mountain from Altenew and it was so popular I had to wait for it to come back in stock.  That was a while ago and I'm just making him into a card now.    He was cut from white cardstock that was inked in colors to make him into my version of a thrush.  The leafy branch is unlabeled so if you know whose it is please tell me.  I tried a Google picture and it came up as a piece of wall art that was the very same image in a large size.  The clouds were made with an MFT stencil.

There are a lot of different birds flying around the blog this week, all made by our talented Design Team and our Guest Tracey McNeely.  You'll want to check them out and also those made by the Time Out Design Team.

FYI: When you link up a card at Just Us Girls it will automatically link up at Time Out.
